Dear Swim Team Families,
We hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Spring Break. Weekday Spring Clinics resume today. The 4th Weekend Spring Clinic takes place this Saturday. We have lots going on at MVP this week, keep reading until the end for important updates and reminders.
The next and final swim suit fitting is tomorrow Tuesday April 9, 4-6pm, at MVP. We recommend ordering by April 12 to receive your suit by Time Trials on May 18. You can order suits after April 12, but they may not arrive in time for Time Trials.
If tomorrow’s fitting doesn’t work for your schedule, Elsmore Swim Shop offers drop-in fittings at their Walnut Creek store (2054 Treat Blvd.). Remaining dates and times are April 21 and April 28, 11am-4pm.
If you attended a fitting, then you are ready to purchase team suits and caps. Please do not buy until your swimmer is fitted. Team suits are non refundable, returnable, or exchangeable. https://elsmoreswim.com/collections/moraga-valley-pool-005
THE DEADLINE TO ORDER PERSONALIZED CAPS IS THIS FRIDAY APRIL 12. Reminder - caps are not included in registration. Families are responsible for ordering this year. If you want caps with your child’s name, you must order by April 12. Non personalized caps can be ordered after the deadline. Note that the personalized caps are silicone and the non personalized caps are latex in case your swimmer has a preference.
Are you a new swim team family? If so, please join Swim Team board members this Saturday April 13, 3-4pm, at MVP for New Family Orientation. We will provide an overview of swim team and the parent volunteer commitment. This is an informal event for parents to receive information and ask questions. Hope to see you there.
Swim team starts in 2 weeks! Have you registered yet? In School season for 6 & Under - 15/18 swimmers begins in 2 weeks on Monday April 22. Practices are held Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In School season ends May 30.

A note from MVP Swim Team Volunteer Coordinator Sara Megson: The time is coming! Our MVP Swim Team would not function without the volunteer commitments of our amazing families! Each and every swim meet and social event is run by all of us - it is a collective effort. Volunteer sign ups will open on Team Unify on April 25 and remain open through April 27. Details will be shared soon. Thank you all for being an amazing part of this community and for your commitment to support what our kids love!
