We hope everyone enjoyed the first week of Spring Practice! It was great to see so many swimmers in the water! We are all so excited to get this swim team summer underway.

Taco Tuesdays

Hooray! Taco Tuesdays are almost here! Our beloved Abel, from El Paisa Taqueria in Oakland, will be serving up tacos, burritos, and quesadillas every Tuesday throughout the Summer at Moraga Ranch beginning on Tuesday, 5/14. One more week of cooking dinner on Tuesday nights - we can do it! :)

Time Trials / Swim Meets

Time Trials are Sunday, May 19. Arrive by 10:00AM, team meeting is at 10:30AM, and the meet will start promptly at 11:00AM. Please make sure to declare your swimmer(s) “IN” or “OUT” of Time Trials. NOTE, you must sign “IN” to the meet by Wednesday, May 15th in order to swim. The Coaches will send an email as we get closer with what you’ll need to know for your swimmers at Time Trials.

You can declare “IN” or “OUT” for your swimmers now for all the swim meets during the Summer.  Please review the different types of swim meets on the Moraga Ranch website here.  Understanding the different kinds of meets, and if your child qualifies, will also help determine which swim meets your swimmers can participate in.  If you are unsure if your swimmer qualifies, you can ask one of the coaches. You can also sign your child “IN” to the meet and wait to check the meet sheet to see if your child will be swimming or not.  Please sign in early so the coaches can prepare and so families don’t forget to sign up their swimmers. Any questions about how to sign IN or OUT to meets, please contact our New Family Liaison @ [email protected]. 

 

Mini Piranha Evals

 

For information regarding the Mini Piranha program at Ranch, please see the Moraga Ranch website here. Mini’s evaluations will be on May 19th, immediately following Time Trials. Please have your Mini Piranha at Ranch and ready to go around 2/2:15PM. Mark your calendars for the cutest swim meet of the year…the Mini’s swim meet, which will be held on July 19th.  

 

Swim Team Calendar

All of the swim meets and social activities are uploaded to the calendar on the Moraga Ranch website. Please subscribe to the Team Events calendar and also the General Events calendar. Please add BOTH of these calendars to your phone so you do not miss any events! Some information is subject to change which will also automatically upload the changes to your phone.
