Here are some frequently asked questions:

How much is the cost of NBS?

All swim groups are $150 a month per child.

How do I sign-up for the NBS program?

Click on the "Online Registration" tab on the home page and then click on the "Register Now" and fill out all of the information. Coach Kevin will send you a confirmation and log-in instructions after he approves your registration.

How does the billing work for NBS?

All billing is done through the autopay system on the 1st of every month. If you plan on having your swimmer(s) take a break for a month or more, please e-mail Coach Kevin ([email protected]) before the end of the month. He will deactivate your account, so you do not get billed for the month(s) that you are gone.

Does my swimmer have to be a member of USA Swimming?

Yes. All swimmers must have a current USA Swimming Membership. It covers their insurance and it is great to be a part of the largest, most successful swimming organization in the world, USA SWIMMING.

How do I order team apparel?

Click on the "Team Apparel" tab. Click on "Newport Beach Swimming". Enter club code NBS. Have fun shopping! Just a reminder that all swimsuit sales are final. You will want to go to Competitive Aquatic Supply and have your child try on the suits to make sure they fit correctly before placing your swimsuit order.

What equipment should my child bring to practice?

All swimmers need to bring goggles and swim fins to practice. Swimmers should wear appropriate swimwear for swimming. Girls should wear a one piece or a 2 piece sold at CAS. Boys should wear a jammer or swim brief. Boardshorts and bikinis are not acceptable to practice in.

How often should my child come to practice?

Your child should come to practice at least 2-3 days a week. More advanced swimmers trying to achieve Junior Olympic times should attend at least 4-5 days a week.
