Coach Kevin Potter has coached all ages of swimmers. He has taught babies how to swim, all the way up to 80 year old Masters swimmers during his coaching career. Coach Kevin brings lots of club coaching experience to Newport Beach Swimming. He coached at Irvine Novaquatics and Aquazot prior to coming to NBS. He has had the privilege to coach all level of swimmers from the learning how to swim, all the way up to Olympic Time Trial qualifiers. Coach Kevin was the Head Coach at Woodbridge High School and University High School. While at University High School, Coach Kevin helped lead the Trojans to Back to Back CIF Division 1 Championships. Coach Kevin is currently the Co-Head Coach at his alma mater, Newport Harbor High School and has helped lead the Sailors to a Boys Varsity Sunset League Championship and a Top 10 finish at the CA CIF State Championships.
