Swimmer Code of Conduct
Avon Eagle Swim Club’s Athlete Code of Conduct ensures every member represents the team and themselves in a positive manner. The following Code is in effect throughout the season.
- I will honor my teammates and coaches with my effort at practice each day.
- I will always exhibit good sportsmanship. AESC swimmers win gracefully and lose graciously and congratulate opponents in either case.
- I will be respectful of my teammates, coaches, officials, parents, and facilities always. This includes behavior in the locker room, on the pool deck, and cleaning up my area at meets.
- I am aware that I represent Avon Eagle Swim Club and will conduct myself in a manner that honors my team.
- I will refrain from foul language, violence, behavior deemed dishonest, offensive, or illegal.
- I understand the use of audio or visual recording, including a cell phone camera, is NOT allowed in changing areas, restrooms, or locker rooms at any time.
Any violation of this Code of Conduct will be issued an appropriate response. This response could include one or more of the following: verbal or written reprimand, probation, or temporary/permanent suspension. Responses will be decided by the Coaching Staff and or Board of Directors.
