The Meadow Dolphins, founded in 1957, is a Summer Recreational Swim Team for swimmers, ages 4-18. Practices are broken down by age group and are designed to develop the competitive strokes, strong starts and finishes, and race techniques, while building strength, confidences and a great sense of community.
Meadow participates in the OMPA swim league - a collection of summer recreational swimming teams located in Orinda and Moraga. In addition to Meadow, teams include Campolindo Cabana Club, Miramonte, Moraga Country Club, Moraga Ranch, Moraga Valley Pool, Orinda Country Club, Orinda Park Pool and Sleepy Hollow. OMPA is rich with tradition, competitiveness and enthusiasm. It is often regarded as one of the most competitive summer leagues in the country, with it's end of summer Championships meet hosting over 1600 swimmers.
