Pre-Senior

Overview:

The Pre-Senior group is set up as the bridge between Juniorp and Senior level swimming. Pre-Senior swimmers will notice that their practices are now more challenging both in terms of volume and intensity; stroke technique will continue to be a priority at this level as well. In addition to greater expectations in the pool, Pre-Senior swimmers are expected to learn effective communication skills, display self-discipline and focus in practice, and begin to take ownership over their swimming careers. Now that basic exercises have been learned, dryland training becomes intensified as well. This group runs year-round (late-August through early-August).
